What would I have to do paint a baseball catchers mask on my own?

I know there are people who specialize in this sort of thing but they're charging $200 for a pretty simple design one I feel I could do my self. I just need to know what are the steps I should use in preping the mask.What would I have to do paint a baseball catchers mask on my own?
take it to a local paint shop auto are some one that does air brushing.


Do it your self .


1 you need to sand the mask.


2 you need to get a primer spray it


3 sand the primer and let dry spray with primer again and this time wet sand it


4 pick you colors and paint it use about three coats


5 let dry


6 spray polyurethane one coat let dry then wet sand again let dry and spray on more polyurethane up to four to five coats the thicker the polyurethane the longer the paint will last. hope it helps.
