I painted a shirt with regular craft paint, and I'm wondering how long do I have to wait before I can wash it? I want it to set in so that the design stays. How long does it take for a paint stain to set in?
I once used a paint pen (not made for clothing) on a shirt and it slowly washed out... so read the bottle of paint and see if it washes off. If it's the kid-type stuff, it may not stain all that well. Otherwise, wait a day or so for it to dry thoroughly and test-wash with an old towel!
