Approximately how much would it cost to paint/refinish a tub and bathroom?

I just moved into my first house and it has a very ugly black and brown bathroom with a unsightly avocado green bathtub... about how much would it cost to get my tub refinished/painted and paint the bathroom tile white since I've read that if you don't get it professionally done, then the paint will just come off after a few showers. About how much and how long would it take?Approximately how much would it cost to paint/refinish a tub and bathroom?
Now days, what is being installed is an ';insert'; that goes right over the current tub and three wall panels that cover the tile surround walls. Those are made to measure and to fit the tub and brought back to the job and installed in a few hours. The cost is about $400-600 to do such a thing.





No one I know is repainting tubs any more. You can buy a redo kit at MAB Paints for about $75 that requires mixing and spraying of two part epoxy. That is not a job for the homeowner, but for a trained professional and unless you have that skill you cannot do the job.Approximately how much would it cost to paint/refinish a tub and bathroom?

Go to Home Depot and get a tub repair kit, it comes with the paint and, colors if you'd like plus instructions all for $35.00
