How much would it cost to paint my oxidized car?

I have black 95 honda civic and would like to get the entire car painted back to its original color (black). Unfortunately the roof and the roof of the trunk is severly oxidized. What should I expect to pay on average for a job like this? Its an older car and I'm not wanting a very expensive or elborate paint job. I simply want to spruce it up and make it look decent again. It's an outside car and is in decent condition. I'll probably keep this car for another 5-8 years. Any and all advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. How much would it cost to paint my oxidized car?
if you are just looking to get the trunk and roof back to their original black then go with what everybody else is saying, if you want teh entire car to match (same color/shade of black) you will need to get the entire car painted, if you are sure the paint is oxidized and not just faiding, then the best route and long term cheapest route is to have the entire car painted. depending on where you live and what kind of black (since you say it is oxidized i assume it is a base coat clear coat).buffing out the oxidization will only temporarily fix the problem, until mid summer maybe. i suggest getting the entire car repainted and spending around 500-1000 dollars for a quality job.How much would it cost to paint my oxidized car?
Check out VaporWax before you blow the money on a paint job. It removes acrylic oxidation on contact.

A cheap job is $400 $500, a bit better $700 $900,really good $1000 to $1400, Excellent $1600 to $2000.
uh oh, better call Maco. Maco's diamond paint job $299.00
if they have a product called jif, its just a non abrasive cutting compound, use that like a polish, it will take out that really dull faded look! or deep marks IN YOUR paint
The first thing I would try is using a buffer ($40.00)with 3M microfine rubbing compound ($15.00) and see if this will cut the oxidation. If it does then I would wax the car and try to keep it waxed. If you go the paint route you can expect to pay $500.00 or more. There are detail shops that can buff your car out for you if you want.
