How do you limit the smell of paint/primer in a hard to vent room?

I want to paint my kids' bathroom but the last bathroom I painted, it took forever to get the smell from the primer and paint to desipate. I can't have the vapors around the kids or the pets. How do you limit the smell of paint/primer in a hard to vent room?
Easiest way is to use fans.It will dry the paint faster, thus, eliminating the smell. How do you limit the smell of paint/primer in a hard to vent room?
There are special Low VOC paints made specifically for that type of application. You may want to shut that room off from access for a few days if you can.

Heres a link to the type of paint I'm talking about.

You might want to try and get a fan going in there just to circulate the air so you dont get sick from the paint fumes. Hope this helps!
Get a one coat bathroom paint. Then paint early and open the windows.Put a fan on and let it dry. Some paints say how long it will take to dry...
You should use a paint that has LOW -VOC there are a few out there now Voc is basically what makes the paint smell the web site below has lots of information on different kinds of paint and rates them.

Good luck

Interesting article, and I also agree using a fan to dry the paint faster will also help. Use latex (water based paint), less toxic smell, avoid oil-based paints.
I'm in agreement with the other poster.

Or use wallpaper.
Open all the windows you can before you start and maybe keep an osculating fan in the room with you so suck the fumes out the room your in and toward the open windows.
