I have some old oil-based exterior paint. Is it possible to use it on bathroom ceiling?

I have done that very thing - the ceiling is actually ply and I was worried about it getting steamed up over time - it has been good for 10 years. The only note of caution is to make sure that what it has been painted with before won't flake off beneath - if it is emulsion it should be OK. Have half a big onion in the room when you are doing it, though.I have some old oil-based exterior paint. Is it possible to use it on bathroom ceiling?
if the ceiling was painted you should prime first-oil will not stick to latex paint. try sanding the ceiling a scuff coat. doing things right is not always easy or best.I have some old oil-based exterior paint. Is it possible to use it on bathroom ceiling?
I am sure you can but it might stink.
