How much should it cost to paint the entire interior of my home? 1600 Square feet ?

I have some vaulted ceilings and I am going to buy the paint. I would just like a ball park figure on what a painter would typically charge to paint my 3 br 2 ba home with bonus room over garage. I am pregnant and don't want to tackle the job myself. We work too much and just want someone to come and do it. Also, how long would that job take? How much should it cost to paint the entire interior of my home? 1600 Square feet ?
I'm a painter, unfortunately that is a broad question. Depends on the area for price, how they will charge, how many people they have, will they spray or roll. The average price is $25/hr. if it is too much more I would not pay. There are alot of ads in your own paper to look for retired painters. They probably won't rip you like some people. I'd do it but don't think you live in my area! How much should it cost to paint the entire interior of my home? 1600 Square feet ?
A decent estimate would be around $2.25 to $3.00 sq.ft. New construction costs average around $2.00/sq.ft. Painters charge more for ';repaints'; because of having to move furniture, covering the floors, and extra concern for your valuables. These figures include the contractor providing paint, so you may be able to deduct some of these costs if you provide paint, keep in mind that painters can almost always buy paint cheaper than a homeowner can. 1600 sq.ft. could run you $3500.00 or so.
look in the yellow pages under contractors.and call and get some estimates.some painters are cheaper than others.a good painting company with as many as 20 men on there staff can have your house done in 1 day.but i would not hire the first person i called i would shop around and get some estimates.
