What is your favourite subject to paint and why?

My subjects, mainly copies of flowers and houses my teacher uses to train me with normally end up as abstract creations splattered and covered with runs. I love it!What is your favourite subject to paint and why?
I love to paint portraits. Mainly because I am interested in emotions and because I genuinely care about people. Mostly my paintings are of girls because I am quite harsh on myself in that I want to look like them and don't like what I have been given much.

Paintings that don't start with an emotion aren't art.

A painting of a landscape might be beautiful but to me it doesn't mean anything because I could do it myself. Ones that come from the heart show what you are really feeling and I can't reproduce that.

Claire xWhat is your favourite subject to paint and why?
I like to paint landscapes because of the variety of skies. I've been doing some figurative paintings and have more in the planning stages, so these may become my favorites. As the season changes, landscapes may be more important.
My creations are mostly really dark, painful drawings; I encorporate a lot of black. But they're relatively simple at the same time. When I'm doodling in class though I love drawing hearts and butterflies and really pretty innocent things! :)
I like to paint flowers best coz you can make them as cartoony or as real as you want. you can hang them on the wall and they are gorgeous and colourful.
British militery from the 19thC and Spanish orientated stuff, because I love history and Spain had a great impression upon me
Buildings and bridges - because i quite lik architecture - i recently did the colosseum after a trip to Rome and it was alright for me!

I cannot draw people though!!!!!
i love to paint trees, just because i love how the sun shines on them and creates differnt shades of green.
My favorite subject is my imagination.
People. I like to paint beautiful burlesque Girls, with lots of deep colours, Patterns and Sparkle. xoxo
Nature with an islamic theme, because I feel this is an expression of my heart felt views on Islam.
Landscapes with Happy Trees, but then Bob Ross is my painting hero.
Flowers cos there are loads of types to paint and they look prettyyy :)
